What You'll Need
- 1 box of pasta (we used Rotini)
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 sweet onion
- 1 pound of cooked chicken (we use leftover rotisserie chicken)
- 1 can of black olives
- 2 tbsp roasted minced garlic
- 2 dozen cherry tomatoes
- 1 handful of fresh basil
- 1 bottle Delicae Gourmet Chicken Salad Dressing Base
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Cook one pound of chicken breast until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, or shred one pound of chicken breast from a precooked rotisserie chicken to keep dinner quick and simple.
In a sautee pan, sautee garlic, sliced sweet onion, sliced bell peppers, and one can of drained black olives in one bottle of Delicae Gourmet Chicken Salad Dressing Base. When the vegetables are almost soft, add in the chicken. It will absorb the herbs and spices of the salad dressing base. When the vegetables are finished, toss the cooked pasta in the pan to coat with the dressing base and incorporate the vegetables. Serve with fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, and grated parmesan on top.
