A terrific tenderizing marinade, grilling sauce, or glaze for meats, poultry and fish. A fantastic dip when blended with cream cheese and sour cream. Delicious over baked or grilled salmon.
INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon canola oil
½ teaspoon salt
1½ lbs. salmon cut into 2 in. squares
1 bottle of Papaya Key Lime Marinade & Grilling Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
1. Grind together the cilantro, ginger and garlic until a smooth paste.
2. Add lime juice, oil and salt & mix together well.
3. Place fish pieces in marinade and coat all surfaces.
4. Coat the bottom of a skillet with 4 tablespoons of the marinade.
5. Put fish in skillet and cover with the remaining marinade.
6. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
7. Cover and cook over medium low heat until fish center is opaque
(5-10 minutes).
